This Privacy Policy explains how My Heart Room, operated by Can Code Limited, collects, uses and protects information when you visit myheartroom.com, join our waitlist or use the My Heart Room interactive demo.

1. Information We Collect

Waitlist

If you join the My Heart Room waitlist, we collect the email address you provide. Providing your email address is voluntary. Without it, we cannot add you to the waitlist or send you launch, early-access or product updates.

Interactive Demo

When you use the My Heart Room demo, you may make selections, interact with activities or enter information into certain tools. This may include focus-time selections, answers or choices within the demo, interactions with games or wellbeing tools, and information you voluntarily type into an interactive feature. The demo is not intended for sensitive personal, medical or confidential information. Information you provide through the demo is not used to provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

Technical and Usage Information

Our website, hosting providers and security providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps and server logs where necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website and demo.

With your permission, we also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use My Heart Room. Analytics information may include pages viewed, interactions, referral source, device or browser information and approximate location. We do not intentionally send your waitlist email address, demo text, answers or other information you type into My Heart Room to Google Analytics.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to operate the My Heart Room website and demo; provide the features you choose to use; manage the waitlist; send launch, early-access and product updates; understand website usage; improve and troubleshoot the product; maintain security; prevent misuse; and respond to questions or requests.

3. Emails

If you join our waitlist, we may send you My Heart Room launch, early-access and product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies or similar storage where needed for core website functions and to remember your cookie preference. These cannot be switched off through Cookie Settings.

Google Analytics is optional. It is disabled unless you choose “Accept all” or enable Analytics in Cookie Settings. If you choose “Only necessary”, Analytics remains off. You can change your choice later through Cookie Settings.

5. Service Providers

We may use third-party providers to help us host the website and demo, manage the waitlist, send emails, provide security, or provide analytics and technical services. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to us, and some may process or store information outside Hong Kong. Google may process analytics information in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legitimate business, legal, security and administrative needs. If you unsubscribe from the waitlist, we will stop sending you updates and remove your information when it is no longer required, subject to any limited retention that is reasonably necessary. Analytics information is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and applicable provider practices.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. However, no online service, transmission method or storage system can guarantee complete security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may contact us to unsubscribe from emails, ask to be removed from the waitlist, ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccurate information. We may need to confirm your identity before completing certain requests.

You can also manage Analytics through Cookie Settings and may delete cookies or site storage through your browser settings.

9. Children

My Heart Room is intended for a general audience and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children. If we introduce features specifically intended for children in the future, we will update our privacy practices accordingly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, demo, services or privacy practices develop. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
