1. About Cookies
Cookies are small text files or similar technologies stored or accessed on your device when you visit a website. This Cookie Statement explains how My Heart Room uses them and should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies We Use
My Heart Room currently uses two categories: strictly necessary cookies or similar storage needed for core website functions and to remember your cookie preference, and optional analytics cookies that help us understand how the website is used. We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on My Heart Room.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies or local storage may be used to remember your cookie choice, support core website functionality, maintain security, and help the website operate reliably. These technologies are always on and cannot be disabled through Cookie Settings.
4. Analytics & Google Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use My Heart Room. GA4 may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish users and persist session state, and may collect device/browser information, page and interaction data, referral sources and approximate location. An IP address may be processed at collection time to derive location information, but Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. We do not intentionally send your waitlist email address, demo answers, text you enter, or other user-entered content to Google Analytics.
5. Your Choices & Cookie Duration
When the cookie notice appears, you can choose “Accept all”, “Only necessary”, or “Cookie settings”. Accept all enables Analytics. Only necessary keeps Analytics off. Cookie Settings lets you turn Analytics on or off and save your preference. Your choice is remembered and can be changed later. GA4 cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> normally have a default expiration of up to 2 years, subject to browser limits and our configuration. You can also delete cookies or site storage through your browser settings.
6. Changes & Contact
We may update this Cookie Statement to reflect changes to My Heart Room, our technology or applicable requirements. Google may process analytics information using infrastructure outside Hong Kong in accordance with its applicable terms, privacy practices and data-processing arrangements.
